Did you know that Mindfulness is a scientifically-based set of tools that has been shown to improve mood and mental wellbeing, anxiety and depression, and even has benefits for pain and other physical problems, like high blood pressure, IBS and inflammation? It can even help with weight loss!
Join me in 6 weekly sessions as we uncover the neuroscience of why Mindfulness works, and how everyone can develop their own unique mindfulness practice to support them to manage difficulty and feel better—EVEN if you struggle to sit still, switch off and relax!
Each week i will teach you short, easy to follow Mindfulness tools that you can integrate into your daily life in just 10-15 minutes a day.
The course includes a weekly Meditation audio track, and worksheets to help you put what we learn into practice.
We will be covering:
· What is Mindfulness and how does it help us?
· The basic tools of Mindfulness , how to use the breath, the senses and movement to bring you into the present moment
· Self-Compassion practice, what it is, and how does it benefit us?
· Emotions, and how to work with difficult feelings mindfully
· Acceptance—what does that mean, and how do we practice this, particularly in difficult times
· Building a Mindfulness habit — how can we make Mindfulness practice a part of our busy daily lives?
