    I have thoroughly enjoyed Deborah's Mindfulness for Chronic Illness course. I have tried mindfulness and meditation apps and could never understand why it only made me feel better for a brief while after a meditation. Surely more was meant to happen? Deborah explains what these apps and websites don't; the theory behind mindfulness and how to effectively and easily bring it into every day life. I now understand why I didn't get the benefits before and have finished the course with a better understanding and a mindfulness toolkit to use. There are already some changes... moments of thinking I didn't get as stressed in that situation as I normally would. Some mindfulness techniques when I am in pain help with perspective and assist me to focus on what will help me rather than pushing through and making myself more unwell. It has given me ways to better manage stress and pain, with simple exercises that are easy to put into practice in every day life.
